I prefer it! Hair under the armpits means smells, so if you shave it off its much more hygienic! Its much better to see no armpit hairs on a man than those awful long hairs that stick out when the arm is even down. If you are against shaving them off completely, trim them short, like most men would nose and ear hairs. There's nothing girlie about looking nice!

Fashion it's not sorry but it's vanity, men only shave body hair if they are sportsmen and compete in things like cycle racing, etc. Some bodybuilders do to look cleaner for competition. However the choice is yours do what you want to do. Individuality is a good thing.

Fashionable? Maybe.....A lot of men do not like having facial and body hair, it doesn't mean that they are "Gay" it is just a personal prefrence. More and more men are having their hair removed by laser, I don't think it is weird or feminine so shave your pits and legs if you want to....just remember that some people can't accept someone who is different and you'll have to explain why you chose to shave in the first place.

i dont think that shaving armpit and pubes is an act of being gay.
however, i have heard that shaving both armpits and pubes makes man sexually more powerful. i dont know its a fact or not but it makes some sense to me.

I feel more sexy and confident with girls if i feel that my body is clean and fresh so i dont think it is bad thing to keep urself clean.

I think it's personal preference. My husband trims his and i love it. He doesn't shave them bald or anything... i think that should be left for the wrestlers and swimmers and stuff. But yeah it doesn't hurt to trim the armpits, a little hair is sexy but too much is just creepy.

A lot more men are shaving their armpits now - and most shave/shape their pubic hair. It's just fashion.

I wouldn't say it's fashionable, but it's no big deal if you do. My b/f shaves and personally, I like a guy without so much hair. In the end, it's your choice.

why is it suddenly fashionable for men to have armpits which smell of somethng other than sweat. (whats wrong with soap and water?)

obviously stale sweat is awful, but fresh... its the smell of humanity. pheremones and god knows what else.. but for our fastlane lifestyles its probably easier to spray than take a shower...

Sounds foul. Shaved blokes normally look liked plucked chickens so if it is fashionable it will never reach me!!!

male armpits should be either shaved or trimmed in my opinion.

us girls hate it when we cuddle up in your arms in bed only to find our nose in a bushy armpit!!!

plus there are heigene resons for doing it, which comes before fashion
