what food should i give for my flowerhorn to boost up his head growth?thanx

From my experience, the head bump size is more of a genetic thing and is not influenced too much by what it is fed. I do feed it pellets w/ color enhancer 1 or 2 times a week (not more than that, can actually make the fish a little greyer if used too much). He also loves loves shrimp - but again, I really haven't noticed much of a correlation between food type and head growth, nor have I found it in any literature. My recommendation: keep the water clean, temperature stable, and keep your FH well fed and he will be healthy and beautiful. Enjoy your fishy!

feed regular food the head size will come naturally
