If it is affecting your life in a negative way, it is bad

As long as you can accept the fact that we don't live in a perfect world. Strive to stay above the norm / or perfectionist is good, but remember that if you ever fail. You can always pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start over again.

It's a very good thing as long as you don't turn into a tyrant .Other people have rights too and to accommodate you , they should not be turned into nervous wrecks .
Sometimes try to step back and look at it and let it go for once .You find out that the world still turns and life does not stop because you overlook something .
So have fun putting things in order and feel secure to know where everything is , but don't be insecure when it isn't !

I would have to say both... I am too. There are times it drives me insane but then again it keeps me pushing harder at all I do...
I want to be the best I can in who I am , what defines me.
I would rather be a perfectionist than someone who does not care at all. I think the key in this is to learn how to balance all that you desire to do. Set clear goals as to knowing too you need time to in a sense , PLAY! And have down time....
Best wishes....

both!
it's great when you want to do something really well, and you get perfect results because of this- expectations often drive outcomes- so having a high standard will serve you well on many occasions!
sometimes perfection is unattainable, and this can lead to great frustration for you- and thus lots of unneccessary stress~ also perfectionists have trouble in interpersonal relationships- personal and professional, when other people don't share your point of view.

ideally you hold onto your high standards, but adapt a level of flexibility, so you can ahieve lots and still be a happy person!
good luck~!

i believe it depends on what you are a perfectionist about if everything well then maybe it is just a little too much but at least when things need to get done they get done

is good cause that means you don't satisfy yourself so easy and you are more and more ambitious ...but there is a bad side of perfectionism and that is that if you are a perfectionist you expect perfection from everybody and most of the times you won't get it...

It's good to do things right.

But if it seems like what you do is never good enough that isn't so good.

There has to be a balance between effort put in & results gained.

I would rather do two things pretty good rather than one thing really good.

There are so many things in life that need doing that if we put in too much effort in too one task we may not be putting enough effort in to some thing else that needs to be done.

It can be good unless people arounf you start getting frustated. I can be a good thing at work...you'll be one of the best workers...but it can be a bad thing in your marriage..I wouldn't want some perfectionest to be telling me what to do all the time.
