Sign in to your Yahoo Messenger. If you want to chat to any of your contacts listed in the contact list, just click on their name if they are on line. Once you click on their name, another window will be opened and you can start chatting with him. If you want to do voice chat, please select the option of yahoo chat from that window.
However, if you want to chat with some other people, who is not in your contact list, please follow these steps:
1) Click on the Messenger on the top of the Messenger window.
2) Click of yahoo chat.
3) Click on join room.
4) Another window aill appear showing the chat rooms
available.
5) Click on the topic of chat room.
6) List of people in that chat room will appear.
7) Click on the name of the person with whom you would
like to chat.
8) If that person responds positively, you cn start chat with him/
her.
