I would like to know if you could do it in that order: J.D first and then Masters afterwards. I'm debating if I should put off law school to get my Masters first and then go to law school, which I think is the more logical sequence.....

You can get as many degrees in as many fields as you wish. I read an article in my local paper about these "career students". These people attended school and earned triple degrees. One man had been in college since he was 17 and he is now 32! He earned two master's and his JD! That's too much time in school for me, but it can be done.

Yes, actually many lawyers return to school to pursue an MBA degree after receiving a JD. There are also many joint degree programs that if you know that you want a JD + MS (JD/PHD, JD/MD etc,) you can shorten the length of time that it would take to get both separately by a year+.

Sure! Why not? I have earned 3 master's degrees and have doctoral work in two different areas of study.
