there is a chance for Edwards-Obama, but for questions sake, we'll keep it as stated above.

As much as I love Clinton, it is far too easy for the Republicans to mobilize their followers against her. Edwards could do well and has experience at high level campaigning. Also, this past November the number one issue people voted on was corruption according to the AP et al poll. Edwards, with his strong populist strain, is trustworthy and his message does in no way come off as corrupt.

McCain is a good choice if he can get past the primary and Guliani keeps national security high on the agenda.

McCain will not get the vote. He could win the general election, but not the primary. He has made too many enemies. Giuliani is a sinch for the VP for whoever wins the primary because of his popularity, but he will not win the Presidency because he likes to insert a knife into babies, collapse their skulls, and suck them out with a vaccum.

Edwards is far to pathetic to win the presidential nomination. Gore has a better shot than anyone. I agree that Hitlerly cannot win the pres nomination, as she is too divisive. But her celebrity status, and warchest, make her a shoe-in for VP.

For the Dems I see Gore and Clinton for their ticket.
For the Reps. I see Romney and Brownback.

Ciao.

I agree with all but the last choice: Hillary Clinton wants it, that's for sure, but America cannot swallow her condescending, divisive, shrewd politics. At first some people will want her just for the sake of getting a woman into the presidency (not a bad thing IMHO), but after they get to know her a little, she will turn most of us off toward her. McCain-Guiliani will be a tough match and a likely scenario.

Rudy won't get it. not as long as the Republicans are relying on the fundamentalist vote.
Clinton is too divisive.
Edwards only served one term and Obama less than that in the senate.
I think McCain has a good shot for the reps.

Honestly, I simply do not want to think about '08 yet. This country is in perpetual election mode anymore. Let's take a break for a bit.

I can't imagine Hillary being willing to play second fiddle to anyone, nor Edwards being willing to have her as a meddling, back-stabbing V.P.

McCain-Giuliani might play OK. Giuliani would be many Republicans' last choice for a Republican President, but they could take him as V.P., since he wouldn't be in a position to push his liberal views.

In that case I think it would be McCain-Giuliani by a landslide.
