I suggest you try the music of a little known band from England called "Inkubus Sukkubus" (yes that is the spelling). You may have to buy their CDs as Imports. They are a Goth band. Yeah, I know slightly out of style, but give them a try.
"Dead can Dance" may be to your liking. Sounds like a goth group, but I wouldn't call them that.
If you like Dido, or Enya, I'd suggest Lorenna McKennit.
Also, don't be afraid of something because it's "old", in other words, give Alice Cooper a listen.
Finding music isn't hard.
Sorry, I can't suggest any "hip-hop".....
