I'll try to make this short. I was suppose to start my period on i thought the 11th of nov took a hpt and it was positive, went on monday and had a blood test done and it was negative, had some light spotting on monday after blood test but nothing to even use a panty liner with, just when i wiped and only did that 2 or 3 times, now nothing. i looked back at prior month and i was acutally suppose to start on the 13th of nov. I have taken 2 hpt this week both negative and still no period so could i be pregnant, this is so stressful..grrrrrrrr...thanks in advance for any response..

Update, I did hpt (digital confirm) this morning and still negative, still no period. I don't have the feeling I usually get when i'm about to start. I have never been late, I'm usually about 5 to 7 days early. I fell sick to my stomach at times, and very tired alot.But im not going to stress over it ill just wait until after thanksgiving and if it still hasnt started then go get another blood test. By then if I am it should show up. I should mention I have 3 kids already and I can remember feeling like this with the other three. Just a quick question how long after implantation will it show up on the pregnancy test that you are pregnant? I'm thinking I might of had that last monday. thanks again for everyones advice..

I have a friend who KNEW she was pregnant and for a month the Doc kept telling her no and the hpt's said no also. She delivered Friday, 5 weeks early from the date the doc said. But I think she was right on about when she got pregnant.
I know that if you are stressed out about it, and you are not pregnant, your period will not come...or come late. Do you have any other symptoms of pregnancy? Tender breasts? Morning sickness usually comes around 8 weeks or so....
My advice, relax for now until you know for sure! :)

You probably did test too early, HPT's normally show up best the longer you wait as your HCG levels (pregnancy hormone) double around every 48 hours.
If you had a neg blood test but a positive HPT then you should see your GP for advice & perhaps he or she could refer you to see a gynae.

I guess you could be pregnant. It almost sounds like a chemical pregnancy to me since you have a + test, but then - tests after that. Chemical pregnanies are more common than you would think. Then again you could just have these symptoms because you're stressing. I'd wait a week and take another test.

wait 72 hours from today and test again. did you take two diff types of home pregnancy tests, one of the test might had been more sensitive levels to the hcg hormone. and the blood test might have been taken too early, but anyway just wait 3 days and take another test and good luck!
P.S buy the ept test that says you can test 5 days before your expected period, it picks up higher levels of the hormone

well i think you tested a little early. give it another week and then test again. If you cycle still hasn't started go back to the doctor. In the mean time take care of your body like you are pregnant!

I would waite for a 3 more weeks. I will not hurt anything to waite but I know you want to know now. Hold off for a while longer and don't worry. Stress will make you skip also.

yes, maybe you tested too early...if you never miss your periods I think the odds are you're pg.
