and if so why do i do what i know i do without knowing what i do until ive done it?

In other words "If i don't know what i do, don't i do what i know?" I think this is the correct translation to layman's terms. To answer it, it would be yes in terms of the fact that if it's not one then it is the other. If i DON'T know what i DO, then... i DO what i DO know. I don't know, my brain hurts...
