In no particular order,I'd like to kick off my own nominations for the funniest comedy shows on TV & Radio with Morecambe & Wise, The Two Ronnies, Jim Davidson, Ken Dodd, The Goon Shows, Round The Horne, Are You Being Served? Dad's Army, The Wheeltappers & Shunters Social Club, On The Buses, Sykes etc to name a few! All of them without exception are still funny with little or no swearing (JD excepted). All of them stand the test of time. All of them simply worth a repeat! Well, can YOU think of anything that still makes you laugh from years ago? So who would YOU vote for? It's over to you!

On the radio in the Manchester area, the funniest programme on air, was The Bradshaws of Barnoldswick, it was really, really funny, I don't know if it is still on 'cause I moved out of the area a few years back. On tv, it just HAS to be, Only Fools and Horses, especially the episode called Stage Fright, it's the one where they are singing on stage to Roy Orbisons Crying. It is a classic and I cry laughing everytime I watch it.

I love to watch Fawlty Towers, Dad's Army and Open All Hours, I don't know which I would choose as the best out of the three. I also like watching my family, although the earlier series' are better than the last ones.

from years ago it had to be Tommy Cooper and of course Morcome and Wise hello hello, only fools and horses, the little waster himself Bobby Thompson and up to date it has to be french and Saunders, peter Kay, and Catherine Tate they all r very good comedians who have made me laugh over the years and give great enjoyment to millions.
On the radio the funnies thing that has been on for years is still the Arches.

Haven't we had all this "best of" nonsense so many times on the likes of chanel 4 and 5 that it's all getting a bit boring by now - I mean, we can only take so many four-hour long programmes!
