I appreciate that people of different religions do not acknowledge christmas, but by the same token there are many that never have the chance to celebrate anything. Every one needs something to look forward to even the hypocrisy of Christmas serves to emblish enjoyment.

You can't save the whole world. You can only save yourself and your family. I'm going to enjoy Christmas like I do every year. Christmas comes from within. Some people just don't get that.

there are a number in the United States who are also not going to be enjoying the Thanksgiving,Christmas, or New Year Celebrations because of various circumstances. If I had my way the United States would become isolationist and say " goodbye to the world. "

While we in the west eat ourselves until we are sick, drink too much with the highest levels of violence (both social and domestic) all year. Have lots of unprotected sex leading to abortions/unwanted children/divorces. We are encouraged to be greedy, valuing amount spent on someone as a measure of love, make ourselves broke in the process and increase the amount of borrowing/debt to more unsustainable levels; fill our houses inside and outside with unnecessary lighting and doing even more damage to the environment.

'tis the season to be jolly!
