Yes you should hold the friendship you had with her really dear.One of dis days you'll be glad you did but dat doesnt mean you can't make other friends.I guess it was a wonderful feeling but am sure if she has any means to communicate with you,she definitely will.Cheer up.

Maybe she felt the same way, we can only hope we can keep someone forever like our parents. Reality is harsh but it is better to have shared that relationship and aparently it was good, than never have shared at all. Think about this with "inner peace" that you and she shared the moment, then go on with lifel.
