She is alive and just released a a paperback version of her book "Christ the Lord Out of Egypt" at the beginning of the month.

No the woman is not dead. As a matter of fact she is more alive now than she has ever been. She has gone back to her church and is now living in California as a practising Catholic. She left her home in New Orleans about six months before Katrina struck the city. She is widowed and her last book is a fiction based on fact about the life of our Lord Jesus. This story is a story on how she thinks Jesus would have come into His knowledge of who He is. I haven't read it but I have read an interview she gave when the book came out and this is where I've gained this information. She is now a Christian; she doesn't even read her own erotic works anymore .
