I have my second sonogram Dec. 7th, I'll be 14 weeks and 4days. Do you think they will be able to tell the sex that early??
(With my last pregnancy I found out the sex at 16 weeks)

it really depends on how experienced the technician is, my friend found out at 16 weeks, i went to find out at 19 weeks and could not tell yet because the baby was moving around too much and facing in the wrong direction, if you cant find out at 14 weeks your doc should be able to tell when you go back at 18 weeks, its helpful for them to tell if you load up on lots of water before you go because it sort of ' blows up' the picture and makes it easier to see, anwyay best wishes and good luck!

One of my times I found out at one day short of 14 weeks. I've heard that with some ultrasound machines they can pick up the boys part as early as 12 weeks, I don't know if I'd be convinced at 12 weeks exactly what I was having, but if your dr. has a good machine you could find out on the 7th.

It has been done as early as 14 weeks, but it recommended to do it at about 20 weeks because it's much more accurate then.

I'm surprised that you found out about your last baby's gender at 16 weeks. Our doctor told us that we had to wait until 20 weeks and still wouldn't be absolutely sure.
I think that 16 is too early as is, so it's unlikely at 14.

i have heard of that early which is amazing isnt it?
my dr said at 20 weeks ( i am 12 now . that seems so long from now) but i know woman that have been able to tell early.

no hun, the baby will be still very small....my dr waited until my 22nd week to tellme, so I don't think they are gonna be able to tell at 14 weeks. Just be patient.

Its not likely that you will be able to tell this early but it is possible

Well just hope that if they cant tell you the sex that they can tell you that your baby is healthy!
