use too when i downloaded a file in limewire i would double click it and it would auotomatically open up in windows media player,now all it will do is go to the bottom were it downloads in lime wire but when you click on it it want do anything preview or anything...I like it to do to my media player,because thats what im use to...can anyone help me please?

I had a similar problem and it was because I ran a registry cleaner. It cleaned up everything, but reset all of the program associations.
Go to the folder where your files are and right click on the file you want. Then click on 'Open With...'. If your Windows Media Player doesn't show up on the list, you can browse through your computer to find it.

Lime Wire is an unstable program that has lots of bugs and ereors. But heres how i do it......open the folder that contains the file that you want to use. open the media player in front of it on your media player go to library and all music drag the file to the midea player where it has the wider list. Now every time you open your media player you will have that song in your libray.
