people that dont like garlic so what can I use instead? I happen to love garlic and it makes food taste so great! What can I use that would be just as great?

use garlic, there is no substitute!! then make another one for those who dont like garlic and try maybe some onions or some herbs.

Why not make this as a side dish? And have regular mashed potatoes to serve if you are having gravy, too. I don't care for garlic in potatoes as it doesn't agree with me. And if with gravy, it changes the flavor of the gravy. So I would make this red potato thing, and have regular ones, too! Then everyone will be happy!

Or, if you are not having any gravy, make the garlic ones, and some cheesy potatoes with hashbrowns. These are very good. They can be made the day before and baked the day of your dinner. We always have these at Christmas and Easter when we have ham. That recipe site should have a recipe for these.

Why on earth would you want to share thanksgiving dinner with people who don't like garlic?!?!?!

Ha! Just kidding!

Maybe just salt and pepper. Maybe some onion. That would be yummy! Maybe throw a few bits of bacon in there.

if you have people comming that don't eat garlic,then make some on side w/no garlic.make sure you seperate and mark some how. happy holidays
