I would say this question is specific to behaviors of a select group of people. Everybody tells their children not to talk to strangers but not everybody sleeps with people they hardly know. The ones that do both are irresponsible because it is dangerous to have in-and-out lovers in a house with a young child.
Children should not talk to strangers because sometimes 'strangers' are child abductors who want to do bad things to children. Children are naturally naive and trust everyone, even strangers, which is why we try to discourage them from trusting strangers.
Adults, on the other hand, are capable of making their own decisions. Whether or not they decide to go home with or bring home a stranger is a decision they willfully make and the consequences are theirs and theirs alone. Even in the cases of willful adults there are instances where the stranger is not trustworthy. All in all, it is a persons choice to sleep with 'strangers' and a practice held by many. Children are brought up to avoid this for their safety, and when adults compromise that they are being selfish and careless of the well being of the child for which they care. If they do not have a child to care for and they practice this behavior, it is their own choice and it only effects them- whether negatively or positively.
This seems more like a hypothetical sociological question with the purpose of enlightening those who practice dangerous behavior.

Because it's not acceptable for children to talk to strangers. Once we are adults we can choose to make stupid choices if we want. It's not acceptable to most people, however lax sexual and personal morals and values do appear to be much less prevalent with each passing year. In our disposable society, sex is becoming more of a casual occurrence.

It amazes me that childrens are allowed to try this on their own. We get little or no ones coming to the abode at Halloween - it extremely is frightening! only some weeks in the past we had extremely some usual college infants knocking on the door asking if we would sponsor them. A neighbour have been given in touch with the college worried and it grew to become out that a instructor had stupidly presented a prize to the guy who raised the main money for the backed walk - so the youngsters have been going around knocking on strangers doorways as a fashion to get extra sponsors and win the prize! extremely those toddler's mothers and dads be attentive to that their young ones are doing this? My daughter takes my grand-daughter out for trick or take care of, yet even then they only circulate to the homes of individuals that my daughter is usual with - she will have the flexibility to no longer take her to a strangers abode.

There's a big difference between trying to teach children who may not know better between safe/unsafe decisions in how to make the right safe choice...
and adults who KNOW what's right and wrong but choose the wrong decision anyway.
Adults only have to answer to themselves...whereas children are still needing to be taught

Because children don't know better and adults should be able to accept the consequences of their actions.

?, Adults are not children. What is OK for adults is not OK for children. Children should not sleep with anyone. When you grow up you will understand?

There is nothing wrong with sleeping with some-one. Unless you are talking about rooting instead. You can come round if you're a woman & see how much sleep you get.

Because there are adult predators out there who kidnap, rape, assault, and kill children. Kids are much less able to defend themselves against one of these predators than another adult is.
