Personally I vote for chaos, but that may just be because I can look after myself and I'm getting pissed off at the instrusive rules and regulations that seem to have become a part of everyday life.

On the other hand, the (ridiculously few) people that I actually care about might not fare so well in a world of lawlessness. But, if you HAD to live in one or the other, which would you choose and why?

PS. Before you start, this question has aboslutely nothing to do with religion, so don't mention it.

I'd hate to live in a world of absolutes, but if I would say order so I would know what to expect and could come up with consistent ways of circuventing convention for my own benefit.

I vote for chaos as well ~ the universe is already in chaos, it's what we do with that chaos that makes it come to order! Chaos makes the most sense to me, and it's how I think. When I work through that in my mind, I find peace.

Absolute chaos would be dangerous, loud, dirty and noisy. Absolute order would be boring, too predictable and annoying. I would prefer to live in a world of balance where both attributes could co-exist together in harmony.

absolute order but like you I would rather live in a world of absolute chaos because I know the results of my actions but it's becasue I know people who at dinner I don't even want to give a butter knife to is why I am glad we sometimes have society to keep them in line..

Chaos.... order won't allow one to think for themselves or really function to the best of their abilities. Chaos will keep the mind and reactions sharp.

Well, as the universe tends towards disorder, we don't really have a choice in the matter.

The world is chaotic enough without lawlessness. Those who don't follow the laws are wreaking havoc for those of us who do.
