I'm really not familiar with enough music from the first half of the 20th century to answer this to your satisfaction, not to mention the fact that I love way too many songs from the second half in order to narrow it down to 5 per decade. Having said that, if it's any consolation I might actually check out some of the stuff you've listed with which I'm not already familiar.

My favourite line is when Meg Ryan says 'Hunny, take me to bed or lose me forever'..... but more importantly, my favourite scene in the movie and probably one of the best scenes ever is the one where all the guys are playing beach volley ball! Yummy!

i dont have a favourite as its my best film ever since i watched it when i was little.
but i like the one when there at the desks and (kelly) comes round and he asks for her number and she writes its down and says hes got no chance so everyone hears it and slider says crashed and burned ey mav
then mavrick gets up and goes to slider and says you know what slider ( pause ) you stink and slider sniffs himself
