Is there a way to test power supplies?

if there is a way to test my power supply can someone please walk me through it?

You will need an accurate digital DC volt meter and the proper resistive load to apply to the power supply while measuring the output voltage. Looking at the output wave form with an oscilloscope will check for the proper filtering.
