Alot is due to Redknapp. Last eyar with a similar squad, their last manager had them in the relegation zone. Redknapp steered them out of there and has them 3rd now. He made good signins like Sol Campbell this offseason and their defence has been pretty steady.
But it is all due to him i think and his skill as a manager

Stupid question really. Of couurse they're trying to get into the Champions League, all teams do when they're in the premiership.
They'll do it. But it's not all credit to Harry Redknapp, they've just played with more spirit and bonded as a team for the 1st time. They'll finish above Arsenal who might not even finish 4th.

Why should they not be trying. Pompey are in a good position and should be trying to sustain it. Why would they be thinking were in third place lets try and stay out of relegation zone.
Pompey have surprised many including many of their followers and long may it continue.
Harry has done wonders, but he cant take all credit, the players have done him and supporters proud, and as always the fans have backed pompey and given them strength.
Oh and probably a little influx of money helped.

On the contrary, Pompey are trying to garner the 40 points soonest, that will ensure another season in the top flight.
Once they reach that magic figure, then Harry will set his sights on Europe.

Yes Our Harry is working the old magic and without the millions that others have, it is down to getting the right back room staff and motivattion of his players , I hope they do get in the champions league, old sourpuss Wegner will blame everybody but himself

sorry, UEFA cup at the outside, you have done fantastically but i dont think you have enough strength in depth to continue the whole season. however if you did qualify above Arsenal i would build a shrine to Harry Redknapp in my room! (Spurs supporter here)

Doubt if they will get into the Champions League but I must admit they are doing really well so far. Just wonder if they can sustain it though.
