was wondering whether anyone knew whether my chances of this happening again were higher than if it didnt happen.

Wow, I can understand being scared for sure.
What I would do is go to your Dr. in his/her office as soon as you can and talk to them as soon as you can. Let them know your fears and ask what precautions you can take. This will ease your mind.
Also, if you know your blood type, tell them. If you don't know, your Dr. can see what type you have. This will allow them to be prepared and have the right blood on stand by just in case.

I had both kids by c-section. I wouldnt do it any other way. I would guess your chances are slim that it would happen again. I am hoping you are using a different Dr. this time! Good Luck.

I had 2 c-sections with no problems what so ever. But do speak to your doctor and tell him about your concerns so that he may understand your worries and help you to feel better about the whole thing. good luck to you ;o)

every pregnancy is different as well as each delivery. I wouldnt worry to much if I were you. I would talk to the doctor though, just to ease your mind before the big day.

im having a c section also in a couple of weeks and had the same problem, im also very worried so if you dont mind, im going to use your answers instead of asking the same question.

You need to make your OBGYN aware of this concern before delivery.
