You can easily reach to the moon ,If you can build a spaceship out of such a metal which can withstand a temperature of a few million `C,and on reaching there if you manage to make your clothes out of the same metal as the ship, you might end up burning your feet. But if you can resist the temptation of walking on the sun you might feel the experience of beening in the center of a Nuclear Explosion as such things are common over there ,And even if you still survive take some pics (with very very very dark filters as its light will definitely blind you ) and share them with us.(You can even e-mail them HaHaHa.......)

Assuming you could take the heat and brightness of the place.
You would see a vast land of fire with flat horizons. Colossal fountains of even hotter fire would fill the view, like loads of twisters. Looping back down into the ground.
The sky would be less bright than the ground, but still a bright orange mess. There would never be night on the 'surface'.

First of all, you'd be roasted before you get anywhere close. Second of all, there's no solid surface since it's a ball of burning gases. If you're lucky enough to survive while you're at the surface, you might see some coronal loops.

I can't imagine you'd see much as your eyes would be burnt out as well as the rest of your body long before you got there with the heat that it produces
