Yes, "kvartiri" (квартири) or "stai" (стаи - rooms). You can also run a search for "family hotels" and "guest houses". Here's a good site:

I just realised that its only in Bulgarian, but at least you can click on the photos to see the houses and to contact the organisation for information, if you click on the "свържете се с нас" button (the last in the row)

Yes we have and they are called sth like private accomodations :)Yes as ovchica said in Bulgarian they are called kvartiri or stai.

Yes they do, they are guest houses, ask at the local council or police for information, hope this helps.

I've been to Bulgaria and loved it, but i cant say i noticed any guesthouses.

yes there are. they're called "staja" or "kvartiri" as i can recall...
