Question: If matter cannot be created or destroyed,
where did the first(present)matter come from?
------------------------------------------------
Though, it is still a big question, if the "Big Bang" was
reasonably symmetric the universe should have started out
as pure energy, or as equal parts antimatter and matter
(matter can be destroyed and turned into pure energy by
combining it with antimatter, and energy in some other
form can be converted into equal parts of matter and antimatter).
The big question is, why do we normally only see matter around
us, and not equal parts of both matter and antimatter? (Of
course it would be pretty hazardous living around stuff that
could annihilate you!). There are a bunch of theories, but as
far as I know, nobody really knows yet.

Same as the earth, big bang theory is what we can count on but beyond that my guess or the guess of antimatter-matter people is as good as yours.

If this is true(matter-antimatter then by there definition there would be nothing, not even the energy).

Other twist is let us say that antimatter and matter when combined would realise energy, so both may have settle from the same energy.

Then it is the same Q? what is the origin of that energy?

It is very similar to eeg or the chicken.

Matter is just the collapse of a wave function of energy. A wave function comes ulimately from pure conciousness. Other terms to describe this are: grand unified field theory, the plank scale, abstractness, zero point energy.
