how do u check if your computer is a dvd burner or a reader?

the front of the dvd drive will either say dvd-rw or dvd-rom. dvd-roms are readers.

Ha! Computers can also be DVD Burners!!!!!!! I never knew!!!!

Go to START, Right click on MY COMPUTER to get menu for PROPERTIES. Left click on Properties to open box with tabs. See the HARDWARE Tab? That's the one you want, then click on DEVICE MANAGER and it will list what you have installed. HAVE FUN!
