OK, this the last movie question I'm asking at Yahoo! Answers today! This movie was about a man, living in a small village, who got supernatural powers after one night it lightens. For example, he is able to smash a glass to bits when he was drinking in the village saloon. Any ideas?

can you remember who is the leading artist in that movie...i have one movie in mind..PHENOMENON of John Travolta..he was also stroked by a light like lightning and after that he began to have a supernatural powers like telekinesis, he can predict earthquake...but the problem is the plot of the movie..in a small village..i can not categorized the place...hope i helped you with that...

Yes it was phenomenon, with John Travolta, i watched it years ago, and really enjoyed it. Something to do with a tumor on his brain if memory serves.
