meet your favorite famous person? Singer, actor, actress, writer things like that. Personally, I wouldn't, if I don't know em then I'm ok but if I do, they might turn out to be jerks or something. Then you couldn't see them in a movie or hear a song by them without thinking "man that guys a jerk." and turn the movie' song off.

I know what you mean. My daughter met her idol - a famous singer. She was really excited and happy to be able to meet her, but for a long time afterwards she felt weird. It was sort of like it wasn't the same for her now that she had met her.

I would like to, yes there are actors and sports figures who are jerks but most are not. If they did turn out to be a jerk, they would just cease to be my favorite person!

yes I would because I like them and I try not to like jerks. And let's face it, there are celebrities who do show their true selves. i.e., Christina Aquillera, Shannon Doherty, Paris Hilton, Donald Trump. etc.

i would like to. i'd want them to know how much they meant to me and learn a little more about them so they weren't such a fantasy type figure.
