Sir:

The satellites up in the sky have batteries which are charged
by Solar Panels that are exposed to the Sun. Each day they
charge the batteries enough to place a full charge of energy back
into them. So, no, the batteries in satellites will not run out any
time soon. They could eventually get old and have problems, however. That might happen in about 7 to 10 years.

Eventually, yes. If the satellite has a solar charging system the batteries may last hundreds to thousands of charging cycles though. Satellites without solar cells may use what may be thought of as a nuclear battery but that too will eventually run out.

Not sure about the batteries, but after 10 or 12 years most satellites are replaced as they wear out and the newer technologies comes along, so don't worry you can still watch your favourite programme.

No, not ever. This is because when they sent the sattelite up there, they put lots of little benevolent immortal pixies on treadmills to generate the power needed to keep the Sky from falling down... sorry, i can't keep a straight face AND carry on with this

oversly not!!!!! they run on solar power dont they hence the big shiney wing looking things on the side lol
