To me it was an attempt to revive the bond character, almost like a rebirth. Whereas previous Bonds, when the actor changes, have always had all the James Bond characteristics and skills, this time we see how he learns a certain essential skill, and he isnt officially James Bond until the end, when he learns what he needed to.
I dont want to give too much away, but thats what I got from it.
There's some great action sequences and stunts, a couple of dull moments that drag on, but its still a great film. 8/10

Well,according to me,it would get 9 out of 10. The new bond Craig has performed well in the movie and the stunt sequences,sound effects and camera have been handled excellently,but the screenplay fails to provide edge of the seat entertainment and suspense like the earlier bond movies.the scene in which bond is being tortured,for instance,comes to an end which fails to satisfy the viewers.Anyway, the movie is worth the money.It is easily understandable and worth viewing.

I saw it on Friday, though I'm usually not into Bond films - it's the first one I've seen all the way through. I thought it was pretty good, although I'm hoping someone will be able to explain the ending to me sometime soon 'cos I just didn't get it, and neither did my friend!

Awesome movie. The fight scenes are breathtaking. Daniel Craig THE best Bond since Connery.

i saw it yesterday. at 1st i wasn't too sure it would be good and that the new actor would play the part well.
But it is an ace film and james bond is rather believable!!!!

yes it gd, not the best, no modern Bond film is, but it is worth a watch, very different from the others but still good. 7.5/10

10 deifinately!! REALLY REALLY good!! its well worth your money and you get to ogle Daniel Craig in in his swimming trunks! hes also naked ;) briliant film with lots of action, cars and witty comments!! x

yeh saw it yesterday and its rely gd. its more action packed than the old ones and there are lots of twists!
