when women wear transparent dresses that arouse unwilling or undesirable and a bribing sexual feelings in the public ,don't you think laws should be enacted on these ?instead of consentrating on unveiling of muslim women .consider the two options
1)neglect the issue of women wearing transparent dress in the public and causes moral decardence.
2)try to unveil those that don't want transparent dress.
which is the most important issue to address?

well, first of all, men are going to have sexual feelings no matter how a woman is dressed! a woman should dress how she wishes, this has nothing to do with attacks, in fact, im sure many men wonder what is behind the veil, and may be more intrigued then by a transparent dress,,,,,,,ps most women dont wear transparent dresses!

Jesus said, "A man who looks on a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his heart." He didn't say that the woman is responsible for the lust in a man's heart; that's HIS issue. (A woman's issue of modesty is dealt with separately.)

While I don't like clothing on anyone (women or men) that are revealing to the point of immodesty or obscenity, the bottom line is that each of us is responsible for our own thoughts, feelings and behavior. What I *choose* to dwell on (visually and mentally), is MY responsibility. I can't blame anyone else for what goes on in my head and heart, nor can I blame anyone else for what I choose to act on. And neither can you. If you don't like what you see, turn your head and walk the other way. Simple as that.

By the way, modesty is a culturally defined concept. Go to any rainforest and find out what the indigenous tribes there wear... next to nothing. Their culturally defined sense of what is and isn't modest (or seemly) is vastly different from most western cultures...and eastern cultures, for sure. But their near-naked bodies don't offend us. Why? Because we understand their state of undress within the context of the culture.

The best you can do is to set an example within yourself wherever you are and hope that you have the greater influence on those who are around you. And always look up; if you're looking towards God and Heaven, your focus will be such that scantily clad women won't even be within your field of vision. YOUR choice determines the extent to which you will have a problem.

Humans are going to lust regardless of how people are dressed in public...lust is part of human nature regardless of what the worlds bibles say we all lust after things....and Muslim women is a more important issue to discuss because they don't have free will in their own countries ...they don't have the option to wear dresses other than the sheets they currently wear ...and that is even worse than those who have the right to wear what they want and choose something provoitive...it should be a basic human right to dress as one chooses ....its sad that people in this world are more concered with religion and the apparence of ones dress when there are people starving in other countries and suffering because they cant get the medical attetion they need to hell with how a person chooses to dress their body.
