It only happens when I have a litter of puppies around, but being with them and playing with them is the most peaceful moment in my day.

Every moment of my day is peaceful.
I do not allow outside events to change the way I feel inside, for the simple reason, . . . . . . . .peace and content start and reside inside, . . . . . . . .not outside.
It is a learned discipline called the art of indifference in that you learn to have the same feeling for:
noise as to quiet
love as to hate
happiness as to sorrow
cold as to warmth, . . .and the list goes on and on and is infinite.
The Chinese I Ching and Chi Gung teach that the yin and yang, as represented on the emblem as black and white, are each the inverse and opposite of the other as with all things in life.
Everything in life has it's opposite, and they are required to always be in balance, and this balance takes place internally, not externally, (As expressed by the yin/yang emblem) as excess of one as opposed to the other, can in some instances cause death.
When you practice and learn the discipline of Indifference, you will then become enlightened and know true inner peace and contentment.

At night after the kiddies go to bed and i can just sit and read or think or jump on the net. I look forward to my "me" time every night!

The time right before I fall asleep. I am laying in my bed talking to my hubby and I feel comfortable and safe.
