Since a Combi Boiler deos not actually store hot water, it only heats when you need it. Therefore, it should not hurt to leave it on all the time

If you mean for the central heating, then I would leave it on at a lower setting, to tick over at night. This will avoid the long re-heat time in the mornings. You would be even better to do this automatically by replacing your existing room stat (or fitting a new) Optimising / progammable thermostat, which you can set to raise and lower the overall temperature whenever you want throughout the day/week. The best of these is the Honeywell CM67, I have fitted dozens of these.
