Yea , I think it should be mandatory. Babies do not come with care manuals. Parenting can be pretty challenging. I think it is important for all new parents to know what to do in trying times.
Having your own babies is NOT the same as babysitting someone elses. It is a 24/7 job and for the rest of your life.

Of course not. No mother knows exactly how to raise a child, no matter how old they are. The whole excitement of raising a child is figuring out how to do it. Nobody parents their children the same way and forcing a class would most likely make the parents resent having children. Besides a class doesn't teach you the love you learn when you do it yourself. Not to mention wouldn't a class be taking time from the parents schedule to spend with the kids. I say NO to any sort of mandatory parenting class.

I am 31 with 2 kids ages 5 and 2 and I have attended Parenting classes for the past 3 years. We not only learn new things but discuss what works for us, exchange ideas and have fun. Not all of our problems are with the kids, sometimes it is other family members and how to deal with them. I would not give this up any time soon. I would recommend parenting classes to any parent, knowledge is power!

Parenting is subjective and directions ought to basically take care of typical issues like bathroom training or weaning. A vast spectrum classification that surpassed over lifestyle and faith does not artwork...additionally every person has distinctive techniques on self-discipline and what works is individual to the newborn and determine. Who could video reveal or audit the content fabric of those instructions? newborn cruelty will exist regardless as sick every person is sick people in spite of if or not they could bypass an examination or not. Parenting is a protracted evolving technique a quick 6 week or 6 month direction ought to not in all probability cover each thing. extreme-high quality concept yet unrealistic....

I think we all should have classes. I am 28, a mother of one who is almost 3 and finding out things that if we had parenting and discipline classes, we wouldn't have the problems we are having now (I won't go into detail....it's too much). Parenting is not a trait we are born with and babies should come with manuals but they don't. It's in all of our best interests to take classes, no matter how old we are. We waited until our finances and life was established to conceive and never could have expected anything we have encountered with our son.

No. They should apply for a "Suitable to Breed" licence before having unprotected sex. This test would include an IQ test, an aptitude test, a financial viability test and then a good parenting test. This should knock a few billion off the social security budget, cut the taxes of those who work hard, cut down on crime, improve society, and stop us from diluting the gene pool any more than we already have. Anyone failing the test or refusing to take it can have all the unprotected sex they like as long as they are sterilised first.

It would be good to know..I would rather see them take CPR classes because the fact of the matter is everyone no matter what your age is has a different way of parenting your own child. If your to be a good parent it comes natural to you! And i think for young children haveing babies they dont realise how easily they choke on things as a older mother of two i have taken them classes and i tell you they help out a great deal..

well going to one would be a good idea because then u will be a better parent to ur child and will have the experience for another. but some people don't go to parenting classes because they can get help from family members who have children or even friends with children. parenting classes are always good to go to but u don't necessarily need to go to one.
