i'm on a budget this holiday season (i'm a first year college student and saving for a car...i'm cheap right now!), and i'd really like to give nice gifts that won't break my already broken wallet. the only gift i am going all out on is for my parents - a big screen tv because i get an amazing discount through my job, but even then my brothers and i are splitting price.

i have mom and dad (individual gifts), aunt, two adult brothers, an adult male cousin, and a 10 year old cousin (boy).

I sure you mother & father will enjoy that TV, but think give a small token of appreashion to your brothers and cosion, like a 25-50 gift card to a good resterunt and spend about 100 on the ten year old, it not about being cheep, it's about being pracitcal. Tell you I no longer buy gifts, except for my grandchilderen, other than that my kids get the gift card, and they give us one, we have a christmas feast and it better than it's ever been, just be real

The TV sounds like a pretty neat gift.

Are you at all crafty or artistic?
Hand paint some terracotta pots and plant them up with something festive and in flower.

Can you cook?
What about a lovely basket of home made goodies?

Or you can give an IOU vouchers, make them up on your computer:
IOU - two car washes
IOU - lawn mowings
I will walk your dog mornings for a week.......you get the idea, virtually anything you can do to help them out is always appreciated.

I bet your 10yr old cousin would love to spend a weekend with you; a movie, day in the park or wherever he enjoys.
