I'm not trying to be rude or offensive to those who practice being a JW, I was just wondering if they still knock on you guys doors. I thought they'd stopped all of that, but when I got a knock on my door yesterday morning I realized that they are still going strong and knocking on people doors bright and early in the morning.

That's never happened to me, but it reminds me of a funny story. This guy I know had a couple of them show up at his house one day and he decided to invite them in. And then as soon as they sat down, he got his remote and turned on a porno he had in his vcr!

It's part of our faith and we'll keep doing it until God's will is done on the earth. We don't do it to annoy people but out of love for our neighbor and obedience to Christ. Mt 28:19, 20; We preach in 235 lands - many of them remote. It's a fulfillment of the prophecy at Mt 24:14. We have never stopped preaching since we began. Perhaps you were not at home when we called.

If you don't want us to call, just say so. We may check back in 6 months or a year to see if you still feel that way or if you have moved and the new people are interested. It's true that some don't appreciate our calls but many people do. We print over 24 million copies of every Watchtower magazine and there are only 6.5 million of us - obviously many more enjoy reading our literature and look forward to our visits.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not condemn anyone, it's not our right to do that. We are not a cult that follows some man's thinking. We base our beliefs solely and firmly on God's Word the Bible and try to live according to the direction he provides through it. We believe Jesus is the son of God, not God himself. In fact, you won't find one scripture in the entire Bible where Jesus claims to be god. Jehovah God has authorized his son Jesus to be the judge over mankind, and since 1914 Jesus has been active as the King of God's Kingdom. 1914 is not a HOAX as you claim. it was a turning point in human history as many historians from different backgrounds will confirm. (not just Jehovah's Witnesses) 1914 was a year pointed to by Bible prophecy which any of Jehovah's Witnesses can explain to you if you ask them. The desire of Jehovah's Witnesses is not to condemn anyone, but rather we want the same thing as Jehovah God and Jesus Christ want, that no one is destroyed when God's day of judgement arrives. 2Peter 3:9

Things I've noted: they don't like to stay if they think you're a stay at home guy and the wife works. My hubby has sent one pitter pattering away just coz he was about to change a diaper, and she'd already done the nose wrinkle thing over him saying the kids were his and he didn't work. So. GUYS answer the doors and have the kids making their usual amount of noise and mayhem, and have the wife either be gone or say she's gone. They won't come in at all and might almost forget to offer you their literature. :)

lol, seriously they need to stop. You think they would, especially when they can hear people turning off lights to get rid of them. I remember one time along time ago I was at my friends hous and some JWs came by and we turned off the lights and made a ton of sound. Then we went to his room which overlooked his front door, and we could see them and they looked up right at us and walked away. We thought we had been slick, but looking back at it they just got the idea.

Every true Christian goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

(Acts 5:38,39) I say to you, Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, you may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.

If someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

There were two that came by here recently. On a Saturday. I was nice to them and told them I already go to a church. I didn't even realize who they were until my Mom saw the booklet thing they gave me. I agree, they are annoying, no offense to any out there.
