it's been the rumor that the PS3 cannot successfully play over half of the games put out for use on PlayStation systems.

In theory, yes.


That's one of the MAJOR problems with the PS3.


about 67% (Rough statistic) of users who bought the PS3 have found it difficult to play PS2 games on a PS3. Many of the games will not work.

as far as ive been told it suppose to be completly backwards compatable so yes
