Writing letters are not vanishing as an art. there has been more amount of writing letters./messages, instead. At the same time enjoying the thrill or the racing of heart-beat in the anxious waiting to open the magic envelope is surely a tradition fading out fast with the advent of new easier simpler and quicker technology .

Yes perhaps emails are taking the place of more carefully developed letters. But who says it's for the worst? We may not be able to write and spell anymore, but we can send useless mail all over the world in a few seconds. That's pretty cool. There's a good book on it let me think "Building a bridge to the eighteenth century" I am sorry I have forgotten the author but it should be easy enough to find.

I definitely have by no skill written a special, yet I definitely have had some adventure while it comprises writing long memories. What usually enables me is to think of what’s going to ensue first in my head, play out the 1st financial ruin see the place it is going, after a on a similar time as is very just about like the tale has a thoughts of its own. as quickly as you have it on your head, what the placing and the reactions of the characters are turning out to be it down on paper is the not ordinary area, each so often what you think of would be greater valuable than what you’ve wrote, yet there is often time to bypass lower back later and tweak it. You gained’t consistently experience inspired the main suitable way is to get your self in the temper you're attempting to get the characters to portray, its plenty ordinary. i will ramble on and on, yet I was hoping I helped. in case you prefer to any extent further tips, I’m available.

the letter writing has reduced no doubt because of email etc but still people in less developed regions have this way of communication alive and even many of those who use email love to read and write letters. i love reading letters and also writing for my dear ones. a friend of mine has pen friends and she gets letters as long as 10-12 pages. but because of fast moving life the place of letters has been replaced by email. but we should keep this alive as a tradition if not a necessity.

I don't agree with your thinking. In India hardly few people are using computers and Internet when compared to the percentage of total population. The majority, who are in rural, semi-urban and urban areas are out of this purview.

Not only letter writing, texting is making it impossible for those of us that don't use it to read e-mails or questions and answers. I agree with you, it is nice to get a hand written letter.

I hope not. One, not everybody has a computer, including people you love. Two, not everybody enjoys typing. And if we lose the enjoyment of handwriting, signing only our names on checks or contracts or purchase orders, we lose the most personal expression of ourselves that exists.
