Eat an apple(before you start feeling sleepy), give it time to take effect. Don't study while you eat, enjoy the apple. Its healthier and more effective than coffee.

Everyone is different. Some need less than 7, others need more. 7 is just the recommended amount of time for everyone. If you still feel tired after sleeping for 7 1/2-8 hours, obviously you need more. However, you could also be oversleeping, which may contribute to the tired feeling. Have you tried sleeping less than 7 hours? Try doing that for about 3-4 days and if you still feel the same, then your answer is to get more sleep. I would say maybe 8-9 hours.

don't take anything. Your bound to have more problems than you do now. Don't study till very late and get some sleep. Whatever your situation is even the natural products will effect your natural ability to sleep in a negative way in the long run.

You know what, I used to do that when I was in highschool. I study at later hours like 2 or 3am to 6am or 7am. I know its tiring but I found out that its very effective. What I used to do is I try to get some rest before I study to condition my body and mind. Like when you're home from school or work, I take a nap until I have to wake up to study. Then after studying, I again take a nap just to rest my brain and body for a little while. I hope this works for you. I remember, it used to work for me in highschool. Now that I'm in college and taking afternoon classes, I study in the mornings. Goodluck!

Avoiding sleep is really not going to help you! You will be far too tired to study effectively and will not actually learn much. Get regular sleep and set study times. You will be more alert and able to study effectively when you are refreshed by sleep...;

Why do you have to study till late? What's so important that you need to avoid sleeping? If you're tired, you're not going to be able to study effectively anyway.

Anything containing caffeine gives you a boost, so coffee, tea or pro plus, none of which are illegal, also energy drinks like red bull or lucozade sport etc, but to be honest none of the above are that good for you....all things in moderation...Your body can not lie to itself, it will need a set amount of rest and sleep, and for every hour or two that you take off its recovery time, you need to find that time at a later date, otherwise you wont function properly, and it can lead to lethargy, poor concerntration, altering moods and even depression...You would be far better off rescheduling your day, and finding a routine that fits in with your required amount of study time, and remember to take time out once in a while, and let your hair down, or you will become dull and robotic

If you just need a boost with your studying, try taking a cat nap in the afternoons. No more than twenty minutes, and you can stay up for another hour or two.
You can resort to the coffee, or energy drinks, but you should watch out with those.
A snack like fruits or veggies can be very helpful also!

Anything you take to avoid sleeping is dangerous because you body neds to sleep to regenerate new cells in your body and to help the brain recover from the stimulation that has it has been coping with during the day.
Not sleeping can have serious consiquences on your body, some that would leave you in hospital.
The best thing to do is manage your time better!!!!

DONT TAKE ANYTHING!! If you avoid sleeping, then your not going to do well in your exams!! Just study for 2/3 hours a night, and take breaks in between. Have at least one night away from studying as well, to allow time for yourself.
