During the 2007 Carolina-Clemson game. Didn't give two s*its about football before then. The only other game I watched was the Eagles-Pats superbowl (Which was really how I became an Eagles fan later). After Clemson won on that last second FG, even though I knew nothing about the sport, I felt angry, sad and generally sick. Ever since then, I've completely fallen in love with the game of football, and USC has been and always will be, my team.

Why do I care about a Pro team I never played for? That college team is usually a representation of an area just the same as a Pro team. That's why I like Pitt. They are a part of Pittsburgh, just as the Steelers are.

Gee, I don't know. I did not live in Tiger Stadium, The Swamp, The Thunderdome, Raymond James Stadium, or Michigan Stadium. Perhaps it is because they are the home teams? Y'kno, the ones closest to where I live? Daaaaaaah.

If I was Catholic, Norte Dame, even if it is in another state.

College football is so much sweeter than NFL football. The youth, the learning, the overall atmosphere. It's the beginning of everything... when anything is possible.

Maybe someone they know went, or are going. Maybe they wished they had gone there or could. Maybe they think they are the most talented team and worthy of their support. Maybe they know someone on the team. Maybe they like the school fight song.... Many reasons I'm sure.
