i'm now preparing to design a software or database for eye glasses shop....any hints to help?

OK .. looking at your other questions .. i know u work with MS Access and Oracle .. for this project go with Access for sure .. it will be easer to market .. will not need costly licencess .. and it's much easer ..
and the best thing to do when u want to start any project .. first do it on paper .. the Analysis ... so .. just find any close glasses shop to get all the data u need .. here u got two options
1- find a glasses shop who already have a program .. that could help u know what to do in your program .. but most probably they will not want u in their shop .. they already have a program.
2- Find a glasses shop who dont have a program .. tell them u will do it for them for free .. or with a very special price if they help u with the info ..
Try to have something special in your program to make people want to buy it ..

If you are interested in creating a web site, then don't worry about creating your own database. There is software out there that does that for you.
