Hi,
I had a friend in the US. Marines and he's wondering why the doctor made him

1) Hold his balls (rectums) and cough
2) Bend down, show his butt, and cough

Do you know why the doctor made him do that? Is it to check for hernia?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your answers. I guess I got the term "rectums" mixed up with "testicles." I guess that's why I failed my Biology course. LOL!!! thanks again.

erm.. (lol) your rectum is not your balls... its called "scrotum".. rectum is your anus...
they are checking for prostrate problems in the muscle areas... when you cough, you contract those particular muscles and the doctor can look for any irregularities

You can not hold your rectum its about 6 inches up your anus.

They make you do #1 to check for hernia and make sure both testicles are descended.

They do #2 to make sure your prostate is normal.

two different proceedures

balls are not rectums - yes it checks for hernia

the bend over finger up the butt(rectum) checks the prostate for enlargement - which 1 of 3 males over 50 have a problem - best to find it quick

of course that's illegitimate for a doctor (or all of us for that count number) to hold somebody against their will. i'm guessing this woman has finally been launched from the docs room, so why on earth has she no longer suggested it to the police? If that's a real case, the standard practitioner would be suspended for added analyze and not allowed to coach till all is taken contained in the time of the legal equipment. And confident, the kind you wrote this, it sounded as though it has occurred greater desirable than as quickly as...? if so, why in hell did she pass returned there!? slightly hassle-free experience is going a protracted way.....

Perforated bowels, hernia, tumors, hemorrhoids and some other ones I forgot. But there are several things you look for doing that. Or the doctor was a perv and wanted a cheap thrill :)
