you have too many messages, delete some and the envelope will disappear!

No it's not a voice message at all.
It means you have unread messages. You have probably not deleted your cache of messages in your inbox and it's full so no more can be read until you delete some of the older messages from your phone. In order to do that you open the message and go to options then find delete and say yes. It will give you more memory and then you will get the message that is waiting for you and the flashing envelope will go away.

The flashing envelope icon means that your Messages memory is full: too many SMS in your inbox and sent messages folders. You will need to delete some in order to make space for new messages.

you have a message proably a text after you read it it will not be flashing

it means you have a message waiting to be opened. go to your inbox and check it out.

you need to call yourself - and then enter your code to get the recording
