you could get tea balls & stuff them full of mulling spices for cider or wine.
You could get some epsom salts and kosher salt & lavendar essential oil, mix 2-1 epsom-kosher 20 drops of essential oil per cup of salts, for a soothing foot soak.. package in long cellophane bags & tie with festive ribbon
Make your favorite holiday treat. I always make fudge & chocolate itailan cookies...
sometimes at micheals or other craft stores they offer small bread tins for less than a dollar, you could make tiny banana breads, or fruitcakes.
Jellies, jams, fruit preserves are easy to gift as well.
Flavored liquors such as homemade vanilla vodka, or pepper vodka, or orange vodka
Take a vanilla bean slice down the middle, soak in vodka for 1 month, shake every day, strain.
take a potato peeler to remove the zest off of 2 oranges soak in vodka for a month skae everyday, strain
take a jalapeno pepper deseeded and julianne, soak in vodka for 2 weeks shake everyday, strain.
you could make "wine glass markers" out of craft wire (silverplated 16 gauge) round nose pliers, some beads & small trinkets, give each a set of 6
candles & soap are pretty easy to make too... it depends on how you like to craft.

Unique Hot Cocoa- get different blend recipes off the internet. Put in a mason jar and decorate with a peppermint stick tied to the lid. Cookie Mix in a jar- layer dry ingredients to a cookie recipe into a mason jar. Looks so cute. Use a recipe that has a variety of textured ingredients to get some variation in height and color in the jar (walnuts, chocolate chips, etc). Tie the directions (with instructions to add the wet ingredients) to the lid. Merry CHRISTmas!!

A scrapbook is a great thing to make. It's personalized. Also, you can make a calendar at an office store. You bring 12 pictures one for each month and they create it for you. It's a great, cheap gift.

Go to a store where you can buy personalized Christmas ornaments and use those as your gift tags. That way, they have a nice little remembrance for their Christmas tree!

knitting and crocheting things is relatively easy, and it is relaxing to do, so maybe knitting scares, crocheting blankets.

get some white plain socks, rice, decorations (ribbon, buttons, goggly eyes, etc.) , and some toothpicks, rubber bands.
put the rice (not all!) in a sock.
then tie it to make it look like a snowman
decorate it!
