Well, i don't know the best kind, but i know a whole lot of people that have just had kids, and they all give them that enfamil with that lipil stuff. Even my nephew. It helps them develop well too. but i guess you could also ask your pediatrician.

I don't know your story.. but I highly doubt you aren't making enoguh milk. Its a supply & demand system.. nurse more to get more. kellymom.com lists several ways to encourage your body to produce more.
However if you have consulted w/ your doc & you child is not having enough wet diapers & no gaining enough weight then supplimentation may be necessary. You really should talk w/ your pedi because there are so many differnet types.
Unless your child has a medically necessary reason to be on a special formula then don't put them on it. Regular formula, regardless of brand, is going to have the correct nutrients. They may taste differnet, and you baby may like certain ones.
Just try a few...

My advice is to try to continue bf, its a wodnerul bond as you know! & suppliment only if you have to, it is a downward sprial that is easy to get caught up in.. once you start supplimenting you start nursing less.. and make even less milk.

I used similac soy formula because the taste is slightly sweeter closer to that of breast milk and there was a less chance of her not taking too it well. She actually loves it I stopped breastfeeding because I wasn't producing enough either and she tore my nipples apart.

i dunno what formula you could use, i used one callled S26 for my first daughter, but i breast feed the other 2. (they wouldnt have formula when i tried it)I just wanted to say, that the more you feed your baby the more milk you SHOULD make (doesnt mean it happens). So if your bottle feeding, try to express as well so your milk doesnt dissapear all together. You can freeze the breast milk in ice cube trays.
Good luck with it.

At least in the US, FDA regulates formula. All formula's have the same ingredients so it's up to you and the baby on what kind she/he likes. I personally used Parent's Choice (Walmart brand) for both my children (I was able to breast feed my youngest). Good luck!!!!
