I semi- agree, the more we know we could also get less fearful, like when we find that the darkness is only a matter of the Earth turning on its axle..
But then again we find out that rock concerts can permanently damage your hearing, the more fearful of rock concerts we get..
We watch movies or news reports of airplanes crashing or hijacked, and the number of possibility something can go wrong (fan jamming, gas leaking etc..) the more we don't want to fly...
It depends on what we find out that depends on if we fear it more or fear it less..

yup. I feel sorry for the youth of today. Adults no longer protect childhood as a time for development. Kids are exposed to everything so fast, so early. Whether they accept this or not, it does seriously affect there ability to develop as people.
Look at the school shootings, the drug problems, the teen pregnancies and sexuality. And for what? For the almighty buck. It all boils down to marketing and some millionaire being the first to realize several years ago, hell these Kids are a monster market. They all have money, most live at home, so no Bills to eat up their cash...they have dough. Hmm ... what can I sell them to take their money.
The answer sadly is ... anything. If there is no need for a product, simply hire a marketing firm, and they'll create a need for you to fill with your product. How else to you explain a 13 year old with a cellphone that gets internet, has GPS, email and I Tunes?
Then theres death and killing and violence rape and murder etc. all you kids are vulnerable and exposed to this ****. It was there in my time but we were sheltered from it.
Its a tough ride out there. You really have to admire the few that walk through the minefield of life unscathed. For sure, we're taking a lot of casualties. I hope you are one of the survivors.

The less faith we have the feared we get simply because we don't have a clue about our future.
