My husband has gave me a second chance and we are going to counseling. This letter was the counselor suggestion so his family can understand his decision since they were there for him after I did this to him. But the counselor wont read it and I'm a horrible writer .

Well, I read your original question with the letter and I have to say that you in no way owe your in-laws an apology. It has NOTHING to do with them. This is between you and your husband. If you've been forth coming with your husband and you've apologized to him then that is all that matters. I don't see how this is anyone else's business. It sounds to me like you have a terrible counselor. I can't imagine any counselor making such a suggestion. All they need to know is that your husband has decided to work on the marriage despite what happened. They may not agree with him but that is too bad. This kills me that anyone should suggest you owe those people anything. This is a very personal issue between a married couple. You need to work it out between the two of you and everyone else should stay out of it.

Good, I'm glad you two are going to try and work it out. But as I said in my answer to your question about the letter, you in no way need to apologize to your in-laws...I think the counselor was stupid on that part. I wouldn't send them that letter.
