What about from 0 to 100? because of that 2000 is the 21st.

Is 1 after 0 ? anything that took place after Midnight+1 January 1st 2000, is in the 21st century.

Century 1 was year 0 or 1 (whatever it started with) to year 99. Century 2 was 100-199. Century 3 was 200-299 etc.

Huh I don't really understand your question but, the century marks the years before the century, Like 21st century=yr 2000 and beyond.
Before the millenium it was the 20th century from yr 1900-2000.
Etc. etc.

The first century was from 0 A.D. to 99 A.D. the Second century was from 100 A.D. to 199 A.D. Follow the pattern. It leads to this century being the 21st.
