As a Pagan, I have always been a firm believer in Nature. This is especially true in the case of cosmetic surgery. I have always held myself in high regards because I had never in the past even thought of recieving any kind of cosmetic procedure other than braces for my teeth. But let's face it shall we? At some point in a person's life, they are going to look at themselves and think "wow you look like crap"
As a young teenager, I was an amateur model. Granted, I was a petite girl and had lots of potential as a model, but it never really took off. Then, as puberty took its full and hateful effect, I began to gain weight as girls naturally do. Ever since, I have stayed in perfect health (except I'm a smoker) but my backside, tummy and breasts aren't what they used to be. I've battled with eating disorders, running the line from eating too much to not eating at all. Now, I'm healthy and working towards my goal in the right way, yet I see my efforts not working. Then I went to Google...

I began looking up procedures. I began to like what I saw, and then consider the operation for myself. But then I thought, "What are you doing?! You always protested against this type of thing!"
My major hang up with cosmetic surgery was the idea of putting something foreign in the body. But I look at the procedures that I want. Nothing unnatural is going in. They are just rearranging or removing parts of what I already have.
Am I wrong if I go through with it? Or is it ok since it is my own body material that is being implanted and not a piece of plastic?
I have a realistic view of what I want these surgeries to achieve. I recognize that no one is perfect and even with the help of a scalpel, no one will ever be perfect. Just some of these procedures would help me feel better about myself.
I am debating over lipo of my abdomine, back and thighs; butt augmentation; breast lift; and birthmark removal.

I have worked very hard to get to this point. I have pushed myself in so many ways to feel good about myself. But sometimes, diet and exercise just don't cut it visually.
And to the guy that said I don't try hard enough and that's why I gave up the modeling, I fell in love. I was with my first true love and I was more worried about spending every waking second with him and knowing that he thought I was beautiful was enough for me. Every photo taken of me then was candid and happy, not brooding and posed. And lets face it, modeling agencies like their girls to be to-the-point and all business, not happy and care free and not caring if the world ended tomorrow...

Ok, to get the point across, I am NOT lacking in the confidence department. I know I'm not the best looking girl in the world, but I am very pretty! If I weren't, would guys approach me in public to flirt? I am not overweight, I just have a few stubborn areas that no exercise I've tried (And trust me, I've tried alot) will get out. My breasts aren't so saggy that you'd imagine them in the scary walk-in-on-grandma nightmares, they are just very large and I was neglegent at a time I should have consistently worn bras. My *ss isn't flat or unshapely, just for some reason, it is FAR too defined and the areas where it seams into my thighs and back need to be softened. And the birthmarks, well, as long as I'm fixing what few problems I have, I might as well get rid of the discolorations in my skin that make people think I have trouble with hygiene (the marks are this shade of brown and the way it looks on my body, it looks similiar to when a child hasn't bathed for a time and dirt has caked)

I would say kicking the smoking and taking up exercise would be a more healthful way of approaching your issues, while cosmetic surgery is one more quick fix guilt instilling action similar to a binge-purge (at least I think that's how I'd feel having struggled with eating disorders).

Regarding your morals, not all pagans are created equal. When you say you believe in nature, does that include cars? How about push up bras, do you own any of those? I think nature is relative or else all we pagans would be running around naked in the woods. My world view is be thankful for what I have, be responsible in the physical world that I am given and give due honor to nature.

Are you dishonoring your nature when you wear a push up bra? How about with a cosmetic surgery? I might answer no to the first question that clothing enhances and celebrates while the latter alters and butchers the body, but it is really up to you. Are you celebrating your own nature? If not, then maybe the question should be more about your mental health than your religious morals, if those two can even be divided.

The way I see it, you are a pessimistic person besides the fact that you are so superficial.

The reason why you never become a model is because you may have let go of the hope and patience to reach that goal. Just because you get older you dont necessarily stop taking care of your figure. Sense of discipline.

If you say you're still not doing well despite the job, well, think again, you may not be that determined or inspired to become more than a mediocre.

You can change yourself and relive your dreams. Think positive.
don;t worry about beauty so much, it doesnt count much if youre career is not a model.

What matters is how you get through the challenges and end up victorious.

If you're asking whet er or not you should do surgery? It sounds to me like you have more of a confidence problem than not looking good. Maybe you could find someone that you would have a good connection with and try to work on the inner reasons why you feel you look like crap? Confidence does not come with great looks, because if you're very insecure, there's always gonna be "something" wrong..And people also have different opinions on what good looks are. Example many women feel like thinner is better, but if you asked a guy they would like her better when she has some curves. And there are lots of not so good-looking people that are very attractive, cause they're confident and relaxed about themselves and others feel comfortable in their presence.
When this is said, I am not against someone doing surgery for cosmetic purposes, but I think that very often it won't solve the problem of someone feeling ugly.

It seems you have already turned your back on your morals by being a smoker. That is not a loving way to treat your body or the planet.

After quitting smoking, I would recommend doing Pilates or the Red Exerciser, it seems to work wonders in tightening the "core" area. You really can make a lot of changes through exercise. Heck, there's plenty of women who've had three, four kids, twins, triplets and you'd never know it.

Reserve surgery for a last resort. You're not there yet. Besides, it's very expensive. Where will you get the money?

Hi,
Procedures are dangerous. I've tried all different diets, and the weight loss is only temporary. I finally tried diet pills on the market are made from Hoodia. I saw this stuff on ABC News. It's all natural and safe, and it works! My wife took it for a month and dropped 20 pounds. I took it for a month and lost about 13 (but I didn't exercise).

I bought the natural hoodia from this website: http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php . I checked the web site address so I can post it here and I saw they're running a promotion now to get a free 2 week sample for only $4.97! I'm going to order this supply for my wife and give it to her for Christmas =)

follow your own morals and be your own critic... humans are naturally selfish so dont listen to what others have to say about what you know is right....
