why cyclopentane is unstable?

"Due to the repulsion of the C-H bonding e- in the eclipsed form of the ring"
Can anybody kindly explain it to me?

Unstable is not the best word. Being a 5 membered ring in organic chemistry is highly desirable so there isn't a problem here. The compound however is extremely flammable.
